The day four at the WIFW opened with the collection of Rabani and Rakha. And former cricketerMohammad Azharuddinwas the star guest in the front row. The collection was inspired by rose motif. It had plenty of intricate handcraftsmanship and intricate embroideries characterised this show.
Elegant sarees and long, flattering evening gowns with trails were a big part of the collection. It featured fitted silhouette, sequin work on the front and back neckline and glorious empire line. Also, the jewel borders in sarees,mukaishwork on evening gowns sizzled on the ramp.
Fabrics used were shot chiffon,lamhae, georgette with rose prints and embroideries in shades of old rose, turquoise and red-on-black net. In some, the torso was highlighted by a bodice adorned with delicate floral patterns, exquisite neoclassical pleating and opulent flowers that created magic. Deep back necklines, halter necks, lot of tucks at bust, floral prints, discharge print and ombre effect in a shimmering palette aptly highlighted the femininity on the ramp.
