Discription:
The fourth day Fiama Di Wills finale second show saw Rina Dhaka leaving tradition behind and using science where new printing techniques have completely changed the universe of patterns, leaving room for huge motifs and fabric texturing and movement.
She has imitated nature not in traditional patterns but instead with precious silks or placed embroideries. From tie and dye to kinetic paisley, colour gradation is midway between the motif and a plain colour. The embellishment was mainly focused with three dimensional techniques usingchikanembroidery and patch work. Paisley was very prominent in her entire creation which she innovatively placed over the garment.
Cleverly articulated silhouette includes coat, paneled dress, corset, chemise, jacket, loose pant, shirt/kurta, wrap over dress and jump suit.
In her collection fabric ranges from handloom Kashmir pashmina to crinkled silk, satin to chiffon.
The finale garment had interesting white silk patchwork short dress worn by Deepika Padukone which was presented very dramatically with shower of flowers on the ramp.
