Aspiring models converged in the Capital today to be a part of this seasons "New Faces Going Places", as the Fashion Design Council of India hosted the national model auditions for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) A/W 2010. Now renowned for launching India's best known faces in the domestic and international modeling world, like Diana Penty, Monikangana Dutta and Ujwala Raut, these auditions aim to showcase the best talent on the ramp at the upcoming edition of WIFW slate next month.

The eminent jury consisted of Ashish Soni, Anjana Bhargav, Payal Jain, Vinod Nair, Niki Mahajan, Rahul Khanna, Asha Kochhar and Aparna Bahl.

After multiple selection rounds, the "New Faces Going Places" will be selected on the basis of how they rank on various parameters including poise, confidence and attitude. As has been the case every year, this promises to be a very competitive and exciting selection process.

Atul Chand, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC's Lifestyle Retailing, said, "WIFW is an important platform to recognise and foster emerging talent. WIFW will continue to raise the bar this season and we look forward to the best modeling talent to walk for India's most coveted fashion event."
